Location
Set within the town centre of
Conwy.
There is signage available at the front of the building.
Parking
There are no guest parking facilities
available, however there is space at the main entrance area where
guests can be dropped off/picked up.
Due to our central location within the town walls we do not have parking facilities at the premises. We advise guests to drive to the font of the property and after we have brought in you luggage we will then come out and show you where you can park around the corner, where we park our vehicle (with no charges or restrictions).
There are also several local authority car parks with disabled parking
facilities just a short walk away. The car parks are pay and display
car park costing 70p for 2 hours, 140p for 4 hours and 240p for
8 hours. Blue badge holders are exempt from payment when parked
in marked disabled bays only.
Main Entrance
From the pavement there are
4 steps up to the main entrance, the steps measure 200mm high, 300mm
deep and 900mm wide. Nosings are not highlighted and there is no
handrail at present.
There is also a back entrance; this entrance is via 2 steps, one
measuring 50 mm high and one measuring approximately 130mm high.
The main entrance door is a manual door with a clear opening of
over 800mm.
There is a door bell available for alerting assistance.
The main entrance leads into the hallway; the hall has level wooden
flooring throughout and leads to the dining room, and stairs.
Dining room
The door to the dining room
is 760mm wide with a contrasting lever handle.
Flooring is tiled and level throughout.
Manoeuvrability is fair and all furniture is unfixed so can be moved
to create more space if necessary.
Chairs have firm back support.
Colour contrasting has been considered in terms of tableware.
Table service is provided.
Stairs
From the hallway there are 11
steps, then a right turn and a further 5 steps to the first floor
bedrooms. These steps measure 850-900mm wide, 240mm deep and 170-180mm
high. Nosings are not highlighted and there is a wooden handrail
on the right hand side ascending.
From the first floor, there are 14 curved steps up to the second
floor bedrooms. These steps measure 660mm wide, 230mm deep and 180mm
high. Nosings are not highlighted and the wooden handrail continues
up on the right hand side (ascending).
Bedrooms
There are 3 bedrooms on the
first floor, Rosé & Bléu Rooms are en-suite and the Olivé Room which as a seperate private bathroom. There are 2 bedrooms
on the second floor, Rougé & Violét Rooms both have en-suite facilities (including a bathtub with a shower over the
bath). Some details on 2 of the rooms are outlined below,
however, if you would like any information on any of the other rooms;
please do not hesitate to contact us.
Please note we do not have any bedrooms on the ground floor.
Bléu Room (Twin
room with en-suite)
The door into the bedroom is
790mm wide and has a contrasting lever handle and twist action lock.
Flooring consists of carpet and is level throughout.
Manoeuvrability is limited but all furniture is unfixed.
As well as the main lighting, additional bedside lighting is provided.
The two single beds have a height of approximately 590mm.
Storage is available at a range of heights but furniture handles
are not ideal in terms of their grip.
TV and DVD facilities are provided, both are remote operated and
subtitle/teletext facilities are available.
There is a fridge and cordless kettle provided.
There are two armchairs in the room.
The door into the bathroom is
760mm wide, with a contrasting knob handle and bolt lock.
Colour contrasting between the bathroom suite and walls is good.
Flooring consists of cushioned vinyl and is level throughout.
Manoeuvrability is limited.
The toilet is 410mm high. There is no height adjuster available
and there are no grab rails around the toilet.
There are sliding glass doors for access into the shower, the doors
have a clear opening of 430mm and the step into the shower is 230mm
high.
Shower controls are lever action with temperature control and are
set at 1180mm high.
There is a grab rail positioned in the shower, there is no shower
seat.
The sink is 800mm high with pedestal, taps are twist action.
Olivé Room (Double
room with private bathroom)
The door into the bedroom is 780mm wide and has a contrasting lever
handle and twist action lock.
Flooring consists of carpet and is level throughout.
Colour contrasting is fair.
All furniture is unfixed but manoeuvrability is limited.
As well as the main lighting, additional bedside lighting is provided.
The bed is approximately 580mm high.
Storage is available at a range of heights but furniture handles
are not ideal in terms of their visibility or grip.
TV and DVD facilities are provided, both are remote operated and
subtitle/teletext facilities are available.
There is a fridge and cordless kettle provided.

the opposite side of the landing area, the door into the bathroom

Assistance with luggage is provided.
Check in 1400hrs / Check out 1030hrs - these times can be flexible
with prior notice, please discuss at booking process.
Special dietary requirements can be catered for with appropriate
notice (at booking).
Fire alarms are audible only, however owners do recognise that some
people may have specific requirements and advise guests to discuss
this at the earliest convenience to ensure that mutually satisfactory
procedures are put in place in the event of an emergency.
Any reasonable requests for any additional equipment etc can be
discussed / arranged at booking.
